Date Night idea card craft
-
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Since it’s LOVE day, I thought I’d share a quick & fun craft that you and your husband can do together.
On Date Night my husband & I sometimes have a difficult time deciding on what we’d like to do. It’s usually dinner & maybe running errands. So I thought we could each write down several date ideas for future Date Nights. I used 10 scrap pieces of card stock, and we both wrote 5 fun date ideas on the back of the cards {he took the odd numbers, I took the even}. I reused a wooden frame from another project & taped pieces of baker’s twine to the back. {The burlap hanger on the frame was left from its previous use as a door hanger for my son’s birthday party} I then clipped the cards to the twine using clothespins. I hung the frame on our bathroom door using a wreath hanger. This is a super simple & cheap project. It cost me ZERO to make!

Wanna make one?
Here’s the supply list…
- a frame
- scrap paper or card stock
- string, ribbon, twine, etc.
- tape, glue/hot glue, or a staple gun
- clothespins or paperclips
- a hanger of sorts {depending on where you plan on hanging it}

The possibilities are endless with this project. If you don’t want to make a frame to hang your cards, you can put them in envelopes. You & your spouse could also keep the date(s) a secret from each other to make it a fun surprise. On a couple of the cards we wrote family date ideas that we could do with our son, like going to the MS Children’s Museum.
